Yes folks it's Paul the Pembrokeshire Artist! Born in Cardiff, Wales a Sagittarius. The youngest of four brothers. During the mid to late sixties my family moved from Cardiff to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The first man on the moon, the flower power movement, and the Beatles pop hysteria phenomenon are all vivid memories of that time in Canada. We returned to the UK in 1969 and I went to school in High Wycombe and Stokenchurch, Bucks. I started to learn the Royal School of Music classical piano at 8 migrating to the drum set at 14. First job was as a Lithographic Print Engineer in Bourne End, Bucks and then a Patent Draughtsman with an office just off Chancery Lane, London, EC 4.
Formed the cutting edge new wave rock band, Red Beat in 1979 with brothers Roy and Martin. Released three singles in London through KJ's Malicious Damage Records and Red Beat's own Manic Machine Products Label with distribution through Rough Trade Records. Recorded a BBC Radio 1 John Peel Session in December 1980. Played concerts all over London and the UK with Joy Division, U2, The Thompson Twins, Killing Joke, Eldest Brother Howard Jones, The Cramps, Captain Sensible, Big Country, etc. Met Richard Branson and recorded a Session for Sting's Manager Miles Copeland at IRS Studios in Kensington, London the year 1982. Worked for Bill and Ted Hopkins dealing in Portobello Art and Furniture, calling at London auction houses Christie's and Sotheby's.
Moved back to the leafy lanes of the Chiltern Hills in 83. Signed a contract with Munich based Ralph Siegel (Jupiter Records) and appeared on the Euro Pop TV Show "Formel Eins" under the band name of "Red White and Phoenix" the show was televised to Germany, Austria and Switzerland in November 1984. Private Box tickets for Nina Kelly and I at the Madonna Concert Wembley Stadium special thanks to Public Relations Guru Barbara Charone.

1998 saw the creation of drumology.co.uk and worldwide copyright for pseudonym "the drumologist". Visited Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA. Met world famous drummers, Dame Evelyn Glennie, Omar Hakim and Carl Palmer. Thanks to drum teachers; Nicholas Hull-Malham, Francis Seriau, and James Blades (L.S.O.).

Thanks for viewing,

It seems to me that a totally different kind of morality and conduct, and an action that springs from the understanding of the whole process of living, have become an urgent necessity in our world of mounting crisis and problems. We try to deal with these issues through political and organizational methods, through economic readjustment and various reforms; but none of these things will ever resolve the complex difficulties of human existence, though they may offer temporary relief.........
But there is a revolution which is entirely different and which must take place if we are to emerge from the endless series of anxieties, conflicts, and frustrations in which we are caught. This revolution has to begin, not with theory and ideation, which eventually prove worthless, but with a radical transformation in the mind itself.
